Our office, as well as the The American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry all recommend establishing a Dental Home for your child by their first birthday. Children with a dental home are more likely to receive proper preventive care, and routine oral health treatment.
We will do our very best to make your child’s first visit at TLC Pediatric Dentistry a positive experience. Depending on your child’s age and comfort, the exam may be performed on a dental bench, dental chair or in your lap. The doctors and our team will take the time to talk to your child, learn about your concerns, answer all questions and explain the steps before we perform them on your child. During the visit, we will provide important strategies to keep your child’s mouth healthy, guidance on what to anticipate as your child is growing, and options if your child has treatment needs.
Parents are always welcome to accompany their children
Our check-ups and cleanings are typically done in an open semi-private environment that is more inviting for young children and facilitates communication for families with multiple children. If you feel that your child will be more comfortable in a private setting, please let us know when scheduling your appointment so we can accommodate your request. Treatment is always performed in private room where you are welcome to join. Your family's comfort is our priority.
The Dental Home is intended to provide a place for dental care other than the Emergency Room.

We accept major dental insurances such as Metlife, Delta, Aetna, Cigna. We also accept Care Credit. Please call us for more details.
For non-insured or self-pay patients, we offer a Dental Membership plan. Please call for more details.
